St Martin de Belleville
A traditional French village
Nestled at the entrance to the picturesque Vallée des Belleville, St Martin de Belleville has managed to maintain the unspoilt charm of a traditional Savoyarde village whilst being part of the 3 valleys ski area, the largest ski area in the world.
At the centre of this pretty French village is the Baroque-style church and market place, surrounded by wonderful village houses and a collection of great bars, restaurants and shops.
A resort in the heart of 3 valleys
At 1450m St Martin de Belleville is the same height as its more famous neighbour Meribel, so the village and resort enjoys an equally impressive snow record.
A modern eight-person gondola whisks skiers and boarders in minutes from the resort centre into the heart of the 3 valleys ski area.
A traditional French ski resort
Development in the village has been closely monitored which has kept out the large tour operators and huge hotels so often seen in other French ski resorts.
Instead, accommodation is mainly in traditional village houses and bespoke chalets which have been built up around the village centre.
